Seven Sisters Retreats
Pilates in Ojai
15 June - 19 June 2026
Our Ojai retreat is designed around a few simple things: thoughtful movement in a small group, beautiful adventures, long meals with a private chef, and time away from your usual routine. Each day includes two Pilates sessions with Seven Sisters founder, Madeline Hale, along with time to hike, rest, swim in natural rock pools, explore Ojai, and ease into slow evenings on the property.
With a limited group, you’ll receive one-on-one attention throughout each session so you can refine your practice in a way that’s hard to do in a typical group class. Set on a beautiful farm, everything is taken care of. From meals to movement, you can fully step away, settle in, and leave feeling stronger, more connected to your body, and well-nurtured.
What to Expect
Each day starts with a light breakfast and coffee before a morning Pilates session. These morning classes are more strength-focused and are designed to challenge you, followed by a nourishing and plated brunch prepared by our private chef, Chef E.
After brunch, the day is thoughtfully planned, with the option to join us for a guided hike, a swim in Ojai’s natural rock pools, or time exploring town. If you’d rather stay back, you’re always free to, whether that’s resting at the house, reading by the pool, or taking time for yourself.
We come back together in the late afternoon for a second Pilates session. These are slower and more restorative, with space to focus on individual needs and refine your practice.
Dinner is shared each evening at the house, prepared by our chef with a farm-to-table approach and Cuban and Latin American influence. We’ll eat outside when we can, with simple, thoughtful meals and time to unwind.
The group is intentionally small (just eight women), so the experience stays personal without feeling over-structured.
Accommodation
We’ll be staying at a serene farm retreat in Upper Ojai, surrounded by oak woodlands and year-round streams.
The home is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with scenic patios, an outdoor art studio, a pool, and bespoke farm-to-table dining experiences. It feels both grounded and elevated, thoughtfully designed and deeply connected to its surroundings.
The house offers three distinct shared room options, each carefully considered and intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. The interiors blend clean, modern lines with soft rustic elements, creating a space that feels warm, refined, and easy to settle into between movement, rest, and time spent outside.

Pilates
Pilates is at the center of the retreat. Each day includes two sessions with Seven Sisters founder Madeline Hale, designed to build on each other and create real progress over the course of the week.
Morning sessions are more strength-focused. You’ll move through intentional, challenging sequences that prioritize control, alignment, and endurance. The goal is to push your practice forward in a way that feels structured and effective.
Afternoon sessions are slower and more restorative, with space to focus on individual needs, refine technique, and work through specific areas of the body with more attention.
With just eight women, there’s time for hands-on guidance, personalized feedback, and a level of detail that’s hard to achieve in a typical class setting.
All levels are welcome, but expect to be challenged. The work is precise, thoughtful, and designed to leave you feeling stronger and more connected to your body.
Cuisine
Food is a central part of the week. Each meal is prepared by our private chef, whose approach blends Cuban and Latin American influence with seasonal, ingredient-led cooking rooted in the seasons of California.
You’ll start the day with coffee and a light breakfast, followed by a plated brunch after your morning Pilates session. Evenings are spent gathered around outdoor dinners on the property with beautifully prepared meals and time to settle into the night.
Snacks will be provided for all of the moments in between.
If you have specific dietary restrictions or requirements, please reach out prior to booking. We’re happy to accommodate.
Other Activities
In between sessions, we’ll spend time experiencing the natural beauty of Ojai and the surrounding landscape.
For those who want to join, we’ve planned a guided hike through the nearby trails, a visit to the local rock pools for a swim, and time to explore Ojai with its local shops, cafés, and small town feel. The property itself also offers access to quiet paths and open space if you prefer to explore on your own.
